About Caravela Escarlate
Caravela Escarlate it was formed by the multi-instrumentalist David "Caravelle" Paiva, from Rio de Janeiro, that started to play and compose in early 1990's under influence of Brazilian music and progressive rock. In 2011, David met the keyboardist Ronaldo Rodrigues (ex-Massahara, ex-Módulo 1000, current Arcpelago) and both started to develop Caravela Escarlate's sound. In 2016, David Paiva and Ronaldo Rodrigues recorded as duo a folk-prog-oriented album called "Rascunho". The second album was recorded in late 2017 and released only in Brazil.
