With a sonic palette intersecting Indie and Blues-Grunge, The Mayblues have been intent on carving out a sound uniquely their own--the distorted apathy of Nirvana, the sultry Indie Rock sounds of the Arctic Monkeys, and the hopeless romanticism of Chet Baker. Based in Los Angeles, the band plays live as a trio and is fronted by singer and guitarist, Chris Im, who writes all the music, lyrics, and masterminds the brand.
