About The Feral Folk
One of Allie LaRoe's earliest musical memories was learning Woodie Guthrie songs during a move from Berkley, California to Kansas City, Kansas. Perhaps it's this early experience that continues to imbue her songs with a longing for wild space and a discontent with standing still. Founded in 2014 with Jeffrey Scott and Patrick Fouhy, The Feral Folk marked the beginning of LaRoe's musical maturity.
