The Juliana Hatfield Three is a rock band that was active during the mid-1990s and again in the mid-2010s, with lead vocalist and guitarist Juliana Hatfield, bassist Dean Fisher, and drummer Todd Philips. The band achieved their commercial breakthrough in 1993 with the release of the album Become What You Are, which included the hit singles "My Sister" and "Spin the Bottle." The song "My Sister" was inspired by Hatfield's older brother's girlfriend, Maggie Rafferty, who lived with the family while Hatfield was in high school.
