Duo combo Sam Friend and Curtis Nystrom comprise Cherry Jungle. The two became quick buddies coming up in Miami, bouncing around the music scene in different projects. They'd make a habit of hanging out, bonding over basketball and instruments. A flow and rapport formed, overlapping on bills, in studio, on stage, and at sun-drenched jam sessions. Cut to when they both wound up based in Brooklyn, where they began writing for this thing in between stints on the road with other groups.
