Mark was 13 years old and had been playing guitar for two years. At an Against Me! concert, he eagerly jumped into the mosh pit, where was almost immediately punched in the face. He doesn't tell many people this, but he kind of liked it. From there he adopted a liking towards nostalgic tones, weaving rock, pop, indie, and electronic into a unique and iconic sound.
