Balancing a deep admiration for songwriters such as Joni Mitchell, Feist and Dusty Springfield with a fascination for dynamic arrangers, such as Pixies, Dirty Projectors and Saya Gray, the Bristol (UK) based artist started her musical journey as a double bassist in orchestras, but later found her own voice writing songs on bass guitar as a teenager.
