Barbadian born and raised, Kairos' early exposure to music was immensely diverse. The Toronto based artist’s early infatuation with R&B and Hip-Hop in the US acted as a contrast to the music of the Caribbean. He was more drawn to the genres of North America than those at home, but to this day, island influences still shape his writing. At age 13, he began writing raps and finding his voice in Hip-Hop.
