Max Smith, born in Germany, found his love for electronic music and moving melodies at the age of 14. In 2005 he started the project "Fusion" together with his colleague Dave Baker. In 2008, their first release, the "Inspiration EP" under the label Ultimate House Records, started successfully and the track "Freakquence" climbed to #6 in the German dance charts within the first weeks.
