Artist, singer and songwriter GIA is a former student at the Norwegian Academy of Music, where she studied jazz vocal and pedagogy. At this time she perfected what was to become her debut project GIA. The artist was nevertheless familiar on stage as she started her musical journey early in her teenage years as a songwriter and performer in her small home town in Norway. Inspired by Jorja Smith, Nao and Lianne La Havas, she combines her inner thoughts with melancholy soundscapes, electronic pop and soulful vocals.
