Martin Tomemitsu Roark is a bedroom dream pop artist based in Los Angeles crafting mid-fi and lo-fi tunes that run from sleepy and hazy to tropical and bouncy, to distorted and shoegazing. Tomemitsu first caught attention for his early singles “Runaway” and “In Dreams” as featured on the HBO series High Maintenance and in Onitsuka Tiger Shoe advertisements. Tomemitsu has developed from a lofi bedroom folk artist into a fully-fledged, albeit independent, studio artist whose output spans many genres and stylings.
