In First Person was formed in New Jersey in 2005 by Tom (The Assistant, You & I), Jake (Dreams Forever Drowning), and Vanessa (The Wage Of Sin). Shortly after, Benn (A Petal Fallen, Pyramids) joined on bass, filling out the bands sound. The band eventually settled back into a three piece after Jake left the band in 2006. The band recorded the majority of their releases with this lineup, including the LP Lost Between Hands Held Tight released on Paramnesia Records.
