Anekka began her singing career as a young woman in cafés and jazz bars. She was discovered there by one of the original producers of the famous Bossa N Stones series who invited her to audition for their next project. Needless to say, she was a hit and then joined the recording sessions. Shortly thereafter she recorded Beast of Burden with the band.
