Singer, producer, and composer Steve Tyrell is a soulful, throaty crooner with a deep love of the American pop and standards tradition. His long and varied career began in the late 1960s, first as an A&R rep, then as a producer for hits like B.J. Thomas' classic "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head." Along the way he wrote some hit pop songs and even ventured into film and television scoring. In the 1990s he established himself as a pop standards singer with contributions to Steve Martin's Father of the Bride franchise and his own 1999 solo album.
