One of Uwe Schmidt's many pseudonyms, Lassigue Bendthaus is the prolific and experimental artist's electro-industrial project. Parade Amoureuse released the first Lassigue Bendthaus release, Matter (later released in America by Metropolis). Next, Schmidt moved his Lassigue Bendthaus project to the Contempo label, resulting in the release of Cloned (1992), an album exploiting the concept of sampling.
