Able to fashion hip-hop beats for the likes of Action Bronson while employing glittery neo-disco on their own releases, the versatile Brooklyn duo Party Supplies came together thanks to a shared love of both pop music's edge (Brian Eno, Frank Zappa) and its '80s (Peter Gabriel, Tina Turner). Producer Justin Nealis had been using the name for R&B remixes and hip-hop cuts he uploaded to the web, but in 2012, when multi-instrumentalist Sean Mahon was brought in to help work on Action Bronson's effort Blue Chips, Party Supplies was officially born.
