A finalist of Zee TV Saregamapa 2012, he made his mark as a versatile singer, and was honored with the title “Shehzada-ë-Ghazal”. His Bollywood debut was in the movie “Dedh Ishqiya ” with Bollywood Qawwali “Kya Hoga ” composed by Vishal Bhardwaj & penned by Gulzar Sahab.
