British pianist Christian Blackshaw attended the King's School, Macclesfield, and pursued further studies at the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied with Gordon Green. He later studied with Moisei Halfin at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, and also worked with Clifford Curzon. He has appeared with many major orchestras, such as the London Philharmonic, The Hallé, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Field...
