Following in the footsteps of Girls Aloud, the Saturdays, and Bananarama, the three-piece Girls Can't Catch were the fourth girl band to be signed to Polydor imprint Fascination. The group, which formed in 2009, consisted of Phoebe Brown, who'd been the lead singer of 2007 X Factor finalists Hope; Jess Strickley, who previously won the Motorokstar competition to record tracks with Jay-Z producer F.R.E.A.K; and Daizy Agnew, who recorded the original version of Jade Ewan's Eurovision entry "It's My Time."
