À propos de Mute
Mute formed in 2017 in Brooklyn and features the Chinese-American musicians Kevin Sun and Christian Li as well as Korean-born musicians Jeong Lim Yang and Dayeon Seok. Li and Yang met as classmates at Berklee in the early 2010s, while Sun and Seok met through the creative music scene in Brooklyn in the mid-2010s. The band toured twice to China and South Korea in late 2017 and late 2019, and their latest album, recorded earlier in the pandemic in May 2021, captures the musical chemistry of this close-knit group of improvisers and friends.
