Swedish jazz pioneer Nils Berg is one of the most influential voices in nordic jazz. With his quartet The Stoner and his trio Nils Berg Cinemascope, Berg has made a name for himself both in Sweden and abroad. He has received the prestigious Jazz-in-Sweden-award as well as the “Jazzkatten” by the Swedish Radio. Double Swedish Grammy nominee, a member of Håkan Hellströms live band, collaborations with artists as diverse as Fatoumata Diawara, Nina Persson and The Cullberg Ballet, constantly moving towards the sound of tomorrow with roots tapped deep in the Swedish soil. www.nilsberg.co
