Son of Pooh guitarist and singer Dodi Battaglia, Daniele Battaglia was born July 21, 1981, in Bologna, Italy. From an early age he felt that music was his path, too; in high school he studied audio engineering and shortly after graduation found work as a DJ at a small local station. By 2005, however, he had made his way to Gruppo Radio Italia, one of the top stations in the country, and one of the few that played music solely by Italian artists.
