Extended Organ is a collective of West Coast experimental musicians and artists whose longtime membership with the Los Angeles Free Music Society brought about their formation in 1997. Tom Recchion, Paul McCarthy, Fredrik Nilsen, and Joe Potts had all been performing separately and often in various combinations for more than two decades.
