Frankie J, born Francisco Javier Bautista, was always surrounded by music. Frankie began his music career as a member of the Kumbia Kings, a music group formed by A.B. Quintanilla III, the brother of the late Selena. After a successful run of Spanish and English language albums, Frankie made the decision to become a solo artist. In 2003 he signed with Columbia Records and released his debut album What's A Man To Do.
