Laura Roy is a Canadian artist, musician, and Grammy-nominated songwriter known for blending 70’s folk and 90’s R&B into an Alt-R&B and Cinematic Soul-Folk sound. Born and raised in rural Nova Scotia, Canada, and now based in London, UK, she won the East Coast Music Award for Best R&B/Soul Recording of the Year for her EP Forte. Since then, she has released two more EPs, Tides and Odyssey, further honing her distinctive, soulful style.
