Terri-Lynn is a First Nations artist, lawyer, author and activist and a member of the Skedans Raven Clan from Haida Gwaii. Born in Haida Gwaii off the west coast of Canada, Terri-Lynn Williams-Davidson began singing Haida songs she learned from her great grandmother when she was still a young girl. She has been singing in the Haida language ever since. Terri-Lynn has recorded a number of albums. In 2011 she was named ‘Best Female Artist’ at the 2011 Canadian Aboriginal Music Awards.
