London-based grime MC Asco was featured on tracks written by his peers before carving out an identity for himself. Early on, Asco was known as part of the Mashtown collective, which also featured Margs and Chedda Boy. Eventually, he began releasing solo tracks, although they were few and far between. As the tracks started getting traction online, however, he was persuaded to pursue music on a more frequent basis.
