Jenyer is a South Korean singer, rapper, and songwriter. She was born Jeon Ji-yoon on October 15, 1990, in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province. After attending Kyung Hee University and majoring in Post Modern Music, she debuted professionally as a member of the girl group 4Minute in 2009, with their single "Hot Issue." Her early career also included collaborations with other artists, such as Woo Yi-kyung and Lee Hyo-ri.
