a dark horse are an alt. folk band from Dublin, Ireland. Their self-produced debut EP was released in August 2012 to critical acclaim. Hot Press named 'Take Me Home' Track of the Fortnight, and hailed the EP as “one of the most accomplished and exciting debuts this year”, Seattle Weekly claimed their sound was “compelling, dense, and dreamy”, and The Sunday Times described it as “the most melodic & enchanting EP”. Their song 'The Heart Won't Lie' reached #6 in the Amazing Radio chart in the UK.
