French novelty act Croque Madame consists of Dave Perlis (Host of WFMUs Night People), Post-Splunk DIY icon Rob Storey (Orchestre Murphy, I Am Kamura) and newcomer, French vocalist Florence Raynaud. Their self-titled debut is the result of a twisted love triangle: Raynaud did not want to work with Storey, Storey did not want to work with Perlis and Perlis did not want to work with Raynaud...The heavy lifting was done with the help of the infamous Orchestre Murphy at their bustling Brixton HQ, while vocals were recorded in Brussels and Arras, France.
