A blogger once said to me after hearing a song of mine, "That sounds somehow different, I don't know how to describe it - old school analogue, perhaps. Well, I definitely took that as a compliment because I'm not a fan of perfectionism. If you listen to old recordings of the Stones, the Beatles or Led Zeppelin, you can hear minimal errors and tempo fluctuations. This makes the songs authentic and warm.
