Searching for the balance between the nostalgic sounds of the '80s and the modern pop sounds of today, South of Royal has found a unique voice among pop music. They’ve drawn comparisons to artists such as Atlas Genius, Mutemath, and Fitz and the Tantrums. Based out of Dallas, TX, what started as a few musicians playing at church together evolved into a pursuit of a new sound for the people who listened.
