The Geeks (or The Geeks PH) is an indie band formed in Quezon City, Philippines by vocalist/guitarist Jam Lorenzo (also of acclaimed indie rock group spacedog spacecat), drummer Brian Sangco, and bass player Mags Borbon. Known for their long song titles and loud guitars, the Geeks’ brand of happy/sad melancholia is a healthy mix of sounds ranging from slacker rock, indie pop, sad bastard, and surf-inspired music.
