Formed in Wigan, England, in 1982, Trojan’s original line-up comprised Dave Kenyon (vocals), Pete Wadeson (guitar), Andy J. Halliwell (guitar), Brian Bentham (bass) and Mick Taylor (drums). The band first became noticed on the heavy metal underground scene with a hastily recorded five-track cassette. This credible offering was a blend of high-speed thrash metal with a punk attitude. The band contributed a track to a budget compilation, Metal Maniaxe, released on Ebony Records in 1982.
