Born and raised in Los Angeles, matphilly has been apart of music since he was a kid starting off in local bands, to being a touring act in various bands, to a music producer and DJ in the bass music scene. In his 6 year career as a producer, he’s released music with Nightenjin, Pandafunk, Sppedhouse Movement/Brooklyn Fire, Play Me Records and more. matphilly has played shows for Insomniac at their venues AcademyLA and ExchangeLA, as well as Coachella, and across the United States.
