Composer, oboist, singer and harp player. John was a graduate of the prestigious Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles where he received a full endowment scholarship. He worked with John Williams on the movie score soundtracks to War Horse (Spielberg, Disney) and "The Adventures of Tintin" orchestral debuts. He studied with George Crumb as a fellow at the Bowdoin music festival when he was 18. John also attended the Aspen music festival and Casleton Festival Orchestra under Lorin Maazel.
