Formed in Buffalo, New York in 2012 after Nick Reynolds (vocals, strings) returned home from his time living in NYC writing and performing with his surf band Aaron & the Burrs (then featuring future members of the punk band Big Ups) -- Space Wolves emerged out of several collaborations between Nick and drummer Chris Scamurra, dating back as early as 2004. The DIY duo started recording Nick's garage-pop songs and went on to release four cassette tapes in their first year.
