With a focus on confessional lyrics, & pairing live organic and programmed electronic sounds, Russell creates a refreshing synthesis of the classic British singer-songwriter tradition blended with ambient Berlin soundscapes; songs that range from hushed, prayer-like hymns, to soaring indie epics.
