Victim is a Cape Town-based rapper/composer/record producer & songwriter. His self acclaimed rap sub-genre, Suburban Spaza, is infamously known for it’s detailed storylines told via so-called Cape slang. He is best known for his 2021 Soundcloud mixtape release, A Story Told Illegally, with hits such as Azina Line which has gained him a mainstream audience within the Cape Town music scene making him one of the few acts to look out for in the city. In 2023, Victim followed up with his second project titled, Sgubhu Sase Vuvu, introducing a Kwaito inspired sound which he calls, 95 BPM.
