Hailing from the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea, Rat's love for music and sound was expressed at a young age. He picked up the guitar and started numerous bands, growing strong as a performer in the local scene. Experimenting with guitar pedals and sound is what pushed him into pursuing a degree in Sound Engineering (BSc Hons). Being constantly exposed to synthesis, digital manipulation and psychoacoustics, pushed Andreas into exploring his identity as Rat and electronic music production.
