Representing New Jersey comes LUI: a bilingual emcee with big plans of inspiring the world. Born in the slums of Peru, LUI’s family escaped poverty, migrating to America at a young age. Shortly thereafter, his parents divorced when LUI was at the tender age of 4. Following the divorce, LUI lived in Virginia with his mother for a short time, where she instilled in him a solid sense of work-ethic and the importance of education. LUI relocated to New Jersey to live with his father after that. But, not before his mother gave him a special gift: a guitar, which he used to create his first song....
