December 12, 2023 was the day our lives changed. My sweetest little 4 year old boy was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Our childhood cancer diagnosis was shocking and wholly reorienting. We are new people because of it. The first five chemotherapy phases for leukemia are collectively called Frontline. They are the most intense and hardest on the body. My newest album is a compilation of the songs that I wrote during that period. There was very little music that I could listen to after my son was diagnosed.
