When Folk Meets Rock N' Roll Octave, established in 2017, is an independent Jordanian musical band endeavoring to rearrange and rebirth folklore music of the Levant via creating and integrating folklore and rock music with specialized preservation and adaptation to the heritage of the lyrics and melodies. Octave uses and combines Levant folklore musical instruments (I.e: Mejwez, Yarghoul, Mizmar) with modern musical instruments (I.e: Guitars and Drums) to present folklore music with modernized rock touch.
