PINHEAD is an idiosyncratic and unique art project whose sole member is multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and singer Ilja John Lappin. PINHEAD is an outlet for his world of thoughts: dark longings manifest themselves in atmospheric progressive metal and melancholic, personal lyrics. Already the band name gives room for interpretation and imagination. The well-known film character from “Hellraiser” is regarded by some as the incarnation of evil, while to others it appears as a liberator.
