Born into a Russian musician family and raised amidst the club culture of Germany, JANKA grew up between classical music and the Berlin techno scene. As a multi-instrumentalist, she played the violin, piano, saxophone, and sang in classical choirs. She started DJing in Naples, Italy, within the underground house scene.
