Kent & the Goblins was formed in the summer of 2014 by Kent Van Dover and Cameron Mills. Van Dover brought a few lyrics and vocal melodies to Mills with the vision of a punk band that would address many corners of the genre. The first two songs, “Goblins” and “Barbarian” were completed before the recruitment of Seth Nelson and Forest Randall for drums and bass respectively. After a short period of writing and rehearsal, a demo was released to bandcamp.com and 3 shows were performed before a 4 year hiatus.
