The Wasting Years was founded by Max Huggett in 2022. In march 2022 the line-up was complete with: Jeroen van Dam on Drums Arian Nefs on Guitar Sam Jansen on Keys and Guitar Rick Aerts on Bass The group rehearsed for 9 months when their first single “Broken Lights” was released on November 18 2022. The single was received positively in their local area. This was the first Spotify release for all members at that time.
