The band blends elements of jam, EDM, funk, pop, and progressive music to create a backdrop for their storytelling, which is conveyed through a mix of song, extended improvisation, visual art, and comedy. Boojum features Chris Mackin (guitar), Josh Santiago (guitar), Sarah Elaz (bass) and Mike Coiro (drums), with lyrics crafted by Chris's brother, Tom Mackin, a poet and translator.
