VERAH is a 24 year old singer-songwriter from New York. Having sung and studied Jazz since she was 14, her music is heavily influenced by the smooth vocals of Nina Simone and the rhythmic genius of Herbie Hancock. Before venturing into the world of jazz, VERAH studied piano at the Mannes School of Music, where she first fell in love with classical music. Her love for classical music remains to this day, as she continues to study the masterful works of Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky. VERAH has since returned to singing primarily jazz as well as R&B.
