RAS AKKURATE Born in Kingston, he grew up in Halse Hall and May Pen, Clarendon, Jamaica. At the age of 19, his passion for music grew after seeing many artists perform onstage. He was given his stage name Akkurate from a friend who said his flow and lyrics were so perfect and right they were “accurate”. He later added Ras. He recorded his first song “Ghetto Life” at the age of 20. Several years later, he became part of Ash Tracks Records family out of Clarendon, Jamaica.
